The inaugural justice AmeriCorps Training Program is scheduled for December 8-12, 2014 in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill.
The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), which operates the AmeriCorps national service program, and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have entered into a strategic partnership, called “justice AmeriCorps,” to increase national service while facilitating the effective and efficient adjudication of immigration proceedings involving certain children who have crossed the border without a parent or legal guardian.
